- Self-Inking stamps carry their ink pad inside to keep you clean.
- When you buy your custom stamp the price shown is a completed stamp ready to use straight out of the box. No you do not have to pay up front before seeing your design. Choose “Direct bank transfer” at checkout to see your custom design first. Yes we can work with a purchase order. Payment is required before shipping.
- The ink pad can be replaced or topped up with ink any time you like. With that in mind you will wear out your stamp before you can run out of ink for marking. Click here to find every ink pad. That will keep you scrolling for some time. Or type the model number (or number on the underside of the ink pad) in the search field at the top of the page to find your one faster.
- The stamp can be recycled when you need to change the mark the stamp makes. The rubber die can be replaced by you.
- There are standard ink colours for the stamps – usually, but not every model has black, blue, red, green and violet. Plus we also make extra colour stamps from a range of 11 other ink colours in the Trodat ink range. These do cost extra for that custom made ink pad. Not every model is available with this option.
- Buy two or more self-inking stamps at one time and get a 10% discount. There are multiple stamps in the website with website only discounts for bulk numbers. Bulk orders over 20 stamps can qualify for higher discounts. Contact us and we can quote for large orders. A hundred or more stamps in an order can get substantial discount prices.
How long does it take to order a custom made rubber stamp?
For stamp timeline we generally have the following:
- One day for a proof, or to do a re-proof
- Less than a day to manufacture
- After payment is received the order is made, packed and on the next courier for next working day delivery (Schools are not required to pay up front before shipping)
Most orders take three days to having it in your hands and going crazy with excitement stamping everything in sight. Alright only some people get that excited.

If we are guiding someone to a stamp the menu we use the most is often rectangle shape stamps.
Oh by the way, any image shape you are stamping can go in any body shape.
Sometimes a stamp with the right size in height or width will work better than a particular shape. Large round images can go in the largest rectangle shaped stamps.
Different functions of self inking stamps.
There are different functions that self-inking stamps can perform.
Multi-colour.
These are special stamps from Trodat of Austria. Each stamp can mark two or more colours at one time. Fantastic for brand promotion and logos. Special conditions do apply for individual colour separation and minimum area required. 16 ink colours are available.

Text &/Or Image.
These are the most common uses for rubber stamps. These might be an address stamp, branding, directions, charts or advertising. the world is your oyster. Yes images can also go into a stamp. Laser engraving rubber stamps does require a vector image for precise outcomes of your image.

Daters.
These stamps have small rubber bands and a drive wheel for you to rotate to change the date. Generally a band for each day of the month, the month in three letters and then the year in four numbers. Some are date only and others are date plus a fix text or image.
Numberers.
Like the Dater stamps above these have rubber bands with the numbers on them, plus some have other characters as well. Dial the number you need and stamp away. There are also automatic numbers which have numbers only and automatically change each time they are used or each so many times they are used depending on the setting used at that time.
The Professional grade Trodat numberers can also be modified to have the number bands changed out for letter bands. Only half the alphabet on each one however, either A-M or N-Z.
