Numberer stamps have rotatable bands. Dial up the number you need using clean thumb wheels. No need to contact the ink with your fingers.
The number is always in a fixed position. That cannot be customised. The text on the bands cannot be customised for font type.
The bands on selected Trodat Professional or larger character size Trodat Classic models can be changed. Moving position to get the extra characters other than the 0-9 numbers can be made on selected models. Also on selected models, like the Trodat Professional or Trodat Classic, replacement of number bands to letter bands is possible. There are just two options here as only half of the alphabet can fit on a band. Your choice is either A to M or N to Z on these bands. These bands can be placed in any position on the row.
All of the self-inking stamps have replaceable ink pads or can be topped up with a few drops of ink at any time. To get the correct ink pad you can find the number for it on the underside. Remove the pad from the stamp. Have a look at the bottom of the pad. Either moulded into the plastic or printed on te plastic in very small characters will be the number of teh pad. Troadt ones might go 6/56. The “6/ ” denotes an ink pad.
Below are options of all plastic construction every day models plus heavy duty steel frame versions for high daily use. Also available are Plus auto-Numberers which has modes to automatic forward the numbers on each stamping. These Plus stamps are not customisable.
There are options for different ink types. The standard ink is water based and perfect for copy paper or cardboard. Many models also support special ink pads for solvent base dinks on glossy or non porous surfaces.
For stamping on small or hard to see or reach places the traditional style of stamp with a separate ink pad can be very useful as the end of the stamp is exposed and easy to see where to aim it.
Please ask if you have a special situation, we may be able to suggest just the right model for you.
