What was the problem the customer needed solving?
We helped a very good friend of a friend 🙂 here in New Zealand. A friend of a workmate of the brother-in-law had a project he needed help with on a short timeframe.
He had made a box that was going to be a time capsule for a friend who was getting married. It was a Monday and the wedding was on Saturday! Tis box needed to have the date and the couples initials marked on the box.

How did we help them solve the problem?
Trent had discussions about the timeline, what was required and how big this box was. Plus some possible pricing for the box to be delivered the next day. We could easily use our Trotec engraving machine to engrave the oak box lid. Trent was able to measure the box and suggest some fonts. We always provide a proof showing how it would look to scale. And a couple of changes back and forth to get the text exactly as they required. It is a nerve wracking with this sort of item as on timber the results are variable. Also unknown as it passes over different densities of timber in the grain. Oh and you only get one go at it!
What was the outcome for the best office rubber stamp?
The outcome was great. The timber had been oiled. So we were concerned as the machine was engraving and heating the surface area. This could create a fire. Phew no problems and on this occasion it helped with a beautiful colour to the engraved parts.
This result looked really good and he was able to pick up late Wednesday. Just in time for the bridal party to organise the items to go into the box before the big day.
So thanks to this fast service and perfect result, there were very happy and relieved people off to a wedding on the weekend.
